Search for the Six Gill Shark

"The six gill shark is one of the largest predatory sharks in the world and one of the least commonly seen. Typically this shark spends its time at 2000 metres during the day and rises up to shallower depths at night to feed. In the Strait of Messina, between Italy and the island of Sicily these prehistoric animals have been witnessed rising to just 40 metres depth."

The above pictures are of the six gill shark and the dive sites in the Mediterranean where they are most likely seen.
